The group of Pharmacy-induced effects in the oral cavity is analysed by checking the drugs action in different oral structures (mucous membrane, teeth, salivary gland, neuromuscular system, gustatory system and pre-malignity manifestations, pseudo-malignity and malignity associated with drugs) supporting the diagnosis and prognosis interest. A revision on the present status of the adverse drugs effects on the oral cavity sustains the interest of these lesions, considering a) its great clinical polymorphism (to the extreme of comprising the entire scope of elementary lesions in mucous membrane and hard dental tissues) and b) the great diversity of drug agents which are able to generate them, to the extent of sustaining the affirmation of Mc Carthy: ‘any drug is able to cause any type of reaction".
