The purpose of this publication is to provide an updated summary of the current "Biosafety Concepts and Standards" for dental patient care.
It is intended to transcribe the lecture on "Biosafety" given at the 1st. The aim is to transcribe the conference on "Biosafety" given at the 1st Dental Update Conference of the Sanitary Department of the Army/2000, thus reaching all dentists, hygienists and especially dental assistants, who are the fundamental pillar in all biosafety actions carried out in the dental offices of the National Army.
The scientific content of the publication is nothing more than a compilation of data and concepts from different publications that were taken as a reference, seeking at all times to make it understandable and practical so that the reader can adopt it and/or publish it in their daily work.
