Luis Eduardo Bergalli Campomar was born in Montevideo on November 15, 1939. He obtained the degree of Doctor of Medicine after a brilliant career in 1966.
Don Luis Bergalli was an outstanding Surgeon and a peerless teacher who generously helped to train several generations of colleagues who, like José Pedro Perrier and Alfredo Peyroulou, today lead the destinies of the surgery of our Hospital and must continue with the heavy legacy that their predecessors left them.
